Importing .csv file

Hi,

I have a problem with importing data. I set my time zone and language to the US; however, when I complete importing process, I got 9 failed records while I have no error. Please help me where did I do wrong.

My guess is that you had some issues with your Pitch records back in Lab 1b and now they're not numbered from P-000 to P-009. The Meeting records you're trying to import each have the ID number of the Pitch record they are supposed to go with. So when you try to import them, they're not finding their matching Pitch records because the IDs of yours are different than they're supposed to be. You can't change them now but you can change the ID numbers in the import file so they will find their matches when you import them.

This is explained at the top of the 2b cover page and there's a link to this page that gives more detailed instructions, but basically, it's this:

If your Pitch records have IDs from P-010 to P-019 then you would just open the import file you downloaded in Excel and change the IDs, like change P-000 to P-010 and change P-001 to P-011, etc. Then save the file, making sure you save it as a CSV and try importing again.

Try that but if you have trouble, you can email me at tim.hill@themaxlabsproject.com
