Can grade 1b not 1a
I completed both lab 1a and 1b. When I went to grade them however only lab 1b was graded and lab 1a has remained a 0 what should I do I am very confused?

Yeah, so when you start Lab 1b, the instructions tell you to delete the Pitch object you made in Lab 1a so that you won't get it confused with the Pitch object that gets added by Max's Pitch Package when you install it. So the grader can't see any of your 1a work now. That's why we put the bold red instructions on the cover page and the trailer page saying to be sure to grade each lab when you finish it, before starting the next one.
Fortunately, you can still undelete your work and grade it and then re-delete it using these instructions:
