That sounds like a browser issue to me. What browser are you using? Did you set the settings recommended at the top of the Lab 1a cover sheet? If not, maybe make those settings now and try again and let me know ok? If that doesn't work, maybe get a new browser you don't already have, like Firefox, and try taht.
