Setp 73- Lab 3a

Hello,

I am stuck on step 73. I entered the Rule Name exactly as instructed: "assign incoming leads to Riley or me", but I'm receiving an error message stating that "Rule Name must be unique."

Could you please advise on how to proceed?

Thank you.

Yes, well it's telling you that each rule must have a different name. You can create a new rule and give it the same name as one that already exisits.

So this means you must have done this step already and now you are trying to do it again. I suspect you got stuck somewhere at a later step and you are trying to redo everything before that but that can't work for exactly this reason.

Instead you need to find the fix for the problem you ran into, not redo everything. Please let me know what the actual error was that lead you to try to redo steps and then we can fix that one instead, ok?

Completed the Steps to Grant Access to My Account

Hello,

I messaged two days back that I switched to using Firefox and adjusted the privacy settings as recommended to complete step 53, and I was then able to find the "Clone" button and continue the rest. However, the MaxLab Grader still shows the same error as before and does not appear to be updating my progress. As you offered to fix it, I’ve completed the three steps you outlined to grant access to my account.

Thank you!

Ok, thanks. I accessed your account and fixed that issue. You had cloned properly but you dind't change the name so you had 2 templates that said "distant lead" in the name. I found the one where you set the message to Riley to say "Bay Area lead" and I changed the name of that one, replacing "distant" with "Bay Area" and I regraded and that cleared that error.

You still have other errors, of course, but those are for steps you haven't done yet. For now, you're all good!

Lab 3a- step 53 and step 70

Hello,

I commented 4 days ago that my Clone button wasn't working on step 53, even after changing the privacy settings. You suggested that I use a different website, such as Firefox, so I did.

I switched to using Firefox and adjusted the privacy settings as recommended. I was then able to find the "Clone" button and successfully completed the lab up to Step 70.

However, the MaxLab Grader is still showing the same error as before and does not appear to be updating my progress. I have double-checked that I followed all steps correctly.

Additionally, I want to know if I can do Lab 3b, without doing Lab 3a.

Glad that worked but yes, you do need 3a done to make 3b work correctly. But I think I know what the issue is with your error message and I can fix it for you pretty quickly if you do these 3 steps so I can access your account and then let me know you've done them, ok?

  1. Log in and click on the round character icon (upper right corner) and click Settings

  2. On the left, under My Personal  Information, click Grant Account Login Access below that

• 3. On the row for The Max Labs Project Support, use the --No Access-- pull-down menu to select 1 month and click Save

Lab 3a- step 53

The clone button isn't showing after unchecking the Prevent cross-site tracking in the privacy settings. I followed the instructions of the Help FAQ as provided and refreshed the page, but there were no changes, and I still can't see the clone button.

May I please know if there is any other way to find the clone button?

Thank you,

It's hard to tell without seeing a screencap, but there could be overriding settings preventing it. Maybe download a new browser, fresh, like Firefox, etc. and try that. Then the settings, by default, should be ok.
