Click the blue Save button & then click the pin icon so it sticks as default for the Meetings tab
After conducting this step, the imported files do not show. However, earlier after I imported the files, it said it was successful

Ok, so I assume you mean when you imported the "records" it said it was successful. That's good. That means they should be in there.
But you didn't include a screencap of what you are seeing so it's hard for me to tell what's going on. Why don't you do that and post it back here. I might be able to see a clue.
Then, in the meantgime, go to your Meetings tab, then, in the upper left corner, use the little down-arrown to pull down the list view menu and select All. Do you see any records showing up? (It would just show Meeting IDs). At least there should be the 3 that you had added back in Lab 2a.
