MaxLab b Step 4

Step 4 says to go under object manager and find pitches, then press the down arrow and delete, however there is no delete button for me.

Ok, so Steps 1-4 are just to delete the Pitches object that you created in Lab 1a. That is just to keep you from confusing that old one with the new one that gets created when you installed Max's Pitch Package in Steps 5-13. That way you have just one Pitch object to work with and won't get confused.

I can tell from your previous screencap that you don't currently have the old Pitch object from Lab 1a because you either deleted it in Steps 1-4 or you never made it. So there is no need to delete it. It's not there.

From your latest screencap, I can see that you have imported the Pitch records into your existing Pitch object successfully but you did it at least twice because you have duplicates now and too many Pitch records. That will mess up the reports and charts that you are supposed to create below.

When you say that Step 22 tells you your Pitches tab should be empty, I don't understand. It doesn't say that to me and there's no step that I know of that would say your Pitches tab needs to be empty. It is supposed to have Pitch records showing up like yours does but you have too many.

So I suggest you create a brand new fresh SF account, using the link that Max gave you in Lab 1a and then when you have that new account, you can skip Lab 1a and start Lab 1b, beginning at Step 5 and going forward from there (because it will not have a Pitch object already from Lab 1a to delete). And I can give you a promo code so you don't have to pay again. Just email me at tim.hill@themaxlabsproject.com, ok?
