Lab 1a

Ok, so I don't know how that happened but the best thing to do now is to just get a brand new account and pick up with 1b. Lab 1b starts by having you delete everything you did in 1a anyway. So with your new account, you can skip Steps 1-4 and just start at Step 5.

Now when you get your new account, you can use the same Email address but you have to create a new Username because the one you created before is still there on your old account. Two accounts can't have the same Username but they can have the same email.

When you pick a Username, it can be anything that LOOKS like an email address but it doesn't have to be a valid one. So you can use hippo@suitcase.sauce, as long as it's not already taken!
