This can happen if you are clicking through the screens quickly when you create the field. The web pages don't get a chance to fully load and execute their internal code before you click "Next" and move onto the next page. (That's why Max keeps saying to click slowly when you're creating a field.) If that one page doesn't get a chance to fully execute, it leaves the field as not visible to certain users (even you!), even tho it's been created.
To fix this, go back to Setup and Object Manager and Pitch. Then click Fields & Relationships and click on Investment Amount. Then click the Set Field-Level Security button (upper center of the page). Then click the checkbox next to the column-header Visible. That will turn on the field’s visibility for all user types listed below, including yours (Admin). Then click Save. Then it will show up when you're back to where you were.
