Hello,
Is the Salesforce Developer Edition account different to the 30-day free trial version? I created my account using the Lab 1a instruction pdf it took me to the Developer Edition account creation and I didn't pay for anything. I've already completed Lab 1a and got a certificate. Should I be concerned? Did I create a correct account?

Yeah, the Developer Edition is correct. (30-day free trial doesn't work for this.) Sounds like you followed instructions and you're good to go. 👍
