Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make it worse. There's a 95% chance the same snag/fix is listed & answered in the Help FAQ. But if you can't find it there, post your problem here.
Make sure you post in the right category below & be sure to include a screencap showing the issue!
I'm guessing you didn't do the first steps of 1b where you delete the old Pitch object you created in Lab 1a so that's the one you're working with now, instead of the new one that was installed as part of Max's Pitch Package?
Ok, I assume you mean you're sure that's not the case then? So do these 3 steps so I can access your account and see what you're talking about:
Log in and click on the character icon (upper right) and click My Settings
Click My Personal Information (upper left) and then Grant Account Login Access below that
On the row for The Max Labs Project Support, use the --No Access-- pull-down menu to select 1 month and click Save
