Hey guys, wondering if anyone else got their Salesforce account deleted after 45 days of inactivation? Is it possible to retreive? And why do they do this, I thought it was supposed to be half a year - please help

Well, you could try calling Salesforce support  at 1-800-667-6389 and then choose the option for Support then choose New Case. Then just tell them you have a Developer Edition account that got deleted and ask if they can undelete it. It might work, even though they say that once they're gone, they can't be reactivated. It's only been a few days since the deletion.


If that doesn't work, email me at tim.hill@themaxlabsproject.com and I can help you go from there in terms of getting your assignments done without redoing everything, ok?

Step 134 Invalid Email

Hello, I'm having an issue in step 134 where the email I have to enter is considered invalid by Salesforce. Is there any fix to this?

Meeting Date is not showing up for me on step 27. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did the Meeting Date field show up properly for you at the end of Lab 2a? Did you get 100% on 2a?

"Data Fright II: Like Deja Vu All Over Again

Hi everyone,

I’m working through Lab 2b: Data Fright II and I’m stuck at Step 30.


I followed the instructions for the Data Import Wizard and successfully mapped the Pitch Name lookup field in Step 12. After clicking "Start Import," I received a confirmation, but my "All Meeting Data" list view still shows 0 items.


Here is what I’ve checked so far:

  • I verified my List View Filters are set to "All meetings" (not just "My meetings").

  • I checked the Recently Viewed list, but it's also empty.

Yeah I can help you. I'm Professor Tim. I wrote the labs and direct the whole project.


It does look like your import is failing and we need to find out why. Can you Zoom right now if I give you a link and share your screen so I can walk you thru it?


If not you can give me access to your account so I can check and get back to you. To do that, do these 3 steps and let me know when you've done them and I'll take a look:


    1. Log in and click on the round character icon (upper right corner) and click Settings


    2. On the left, under My Personal  Information, clickGrantAccount Login Access below that


    3. On the row for The Max Labs Project Support, use the --No Access-- pull-down menu to select 1 month and click Save
