I'm working on Lab 3a, but having trouble receiving three emails. I switch from my school email to my private Gmail account and redo the step as well as making sure the lead assignment role is active, but still not receving the three emails.

Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.
Before you post make sure you check the Help FAQ for an instant solution first. Then, if you can't find it there, you can post your problem here and we'll get to it ASAP (within 24 hours), but be sure you:

Well that issue is covered well in the Help FAQ. Have you checked that already? Take a look there and if you still can't figure it out then do these 3 steps and let me know when you've completed them and I'll take a looka at your account, ok?
Log in and click on the round character icon (upper right corner) and click Settings
On the left, under My Personal Information, click Grant Account Login Access below that
• 3. On the row for The Max Labs Project Support, use the --No Access-- pull-down menu to select 1 month and click Save
