Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

Ok, good but yeah, sometimes, you have to log out, clear your browser cache and log back in again to see the changes. Try that and let me know, ok?
Ok, but you're looking at a record of data. The changes you are supposed to make are to the structure of the Pitch object so you have to go back to Setup and then Object Manager and then select the Pitch object, and then Fields & Relationships and then New to add the equity field and then Edit by Pitch Date to change it's data type.
Then when you have fixed your Pitch object, you'll need to go back to the Marketing app and select the records and then add the correct data into the new equity field you added. And maybe fix the Pitch Data data too.
