Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make it worse. There's a 95% chance the same snag/fix is listed & answered in the Help FAQ. But if you can't find it there, post your problem here.
Make sure you post in the right category below & be sure to include a screencap showing the issue!
It's because the Address data isn't really stored in the Meeting Attendance object. It's only in the Pitch object. Remember in Steps 104-116, you were adding Address to Meeting Attendance as a virtual (formula) field. The formula says "for this Meeting Attendance record, find the matching Meeting record that goes with it Then find the Pitch record that goes with that Meeting. Then take the Address data from that Pitch record. So to edit what you see there, you would have to edit the Pitch record that that data is being drawn from.
Hope that makes sense.
I think that one would be the Spray & Pray pitch record so got to Pitch and edit the Address for that record and then the changes you make will show up on that Meeting Attendance record for Julia.
i am not able to edit the address for that record, how do I edit it
Its locked and does't allow me to edit it
Can you please help me with this ?
Ok, do these steps so I can access your account and help you:
Log in and click on the character icon (upper right) and click My Settings
Click My Personal Information (upper left) and then Grant Account Login Access below that
On the row for The Max Labs Project Support, use the --No Access-- pull-down menu to select 1 month and click Save
Then I will need your Salesforce Org ID so I can find your account:
Click the little gear at the top right and then select Setup.
On the lefthand menu go to Company Settings and under that, click Company Information.
In the middle panel, look down in the left column for Salesforce.com Organization ID and copy/paste that long string of numbers & letters and post it to me.
I already fixed the problem, thank you Dr.Tim
Oh, good. I'm glad!
