Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make it worse. There's a 95% chance the same snag/fix is listed & answered in the Help FAQ. But if you can't find it there, post your problem here.
Make sure you post in the right category below & be sure to include a screencap showing the issue!
Hello Tim! Maggie is my student. I have posted the latest version of the labs to our LMS. I believe a different reason has caused this issue.
Oh! I haven't seen that before. Sorry. It doesn't look like anything I can help with and Salesforce isn't likely to be of much help because they don't officially support these free Developer Edition accounts.
I think you're going to need to get abandon that account and get a new one. You can still use the same email address but you'll need to choose a new Username since the old Username is still on that old account. In Salesforce, Usernames can be anything that LOOKS like an email address, even if it's not a real working email address. For example, hippo@suitcase.sauce would work, assuming nobody else has taken it already!
Also, rather than trying to change currency & language, try using United States as the country when you complete the online form to get your account. I think we changed the instructions this semester to tell you to do that. Did your instructions say that? Did you try it? Did it not work? Please let me know, ok? I THINK it is the best/easiest option if you are outside the US and then you won't have to make special settings.
Let me know, ok?
