Probably the email you had set for Riley back in Lab 3a is not the inbox you are looking in or is not a valid email address at all. You can check by going to Setup > Users > Users > Riley and then see what the email address is. That's where the reset email messages are trying to go. If you need to change it, click Edit and change it and click Save. SF will not make the change until it sends a verification email to the new address and you click the link in that email. Only then will it commit the change to the new address. Then when you do the pw reset step, it will go to the new address.
